An original 1970s Lee West Alpha Chamber Stereo Egg Chair in the house! We not only restored the aging upholstery with new New Zealand sheepskin, we also painted the fiberglass of the chair and ottoman a beautiful black. We wanted the high contrast of black and white. So freaking cool.
The unconventional shape and construction of the Egg Chair make it perfect for both sound isolation and excellent acoustics. Its chamber-like shape and upholstered interior cancels out most outside noise, providing a unique environment for meditation, relaxation, and just getting away from it all.
Note: The stereo did not function and was missing important wiring, so we chose to reupholster over it. But grab your bluetooth speaker and give it a go on your own. We did and it was amazing.
